Are these good laptop specs?

Is this something you plan on buying? We need to know what your intentions are with this laptop: gaming, media, music, web surfing, work? But overall it sounds like you would be paying (or payed) too much for it! I'm sure you could find a much cheaper one I mean thats almost the price of an alienware laptop!
